We make 3d models out of old vinyl records.  We have 20 designs, from Ants to Velociraptor to Pteranodon.  We ship out a vinyl record, you get to pop out the pieces and assemble the model.

"Once the stuff of science fiction, today flying and crawling insects are used by the military, fitted with audio and video devices. This exhibition experiments using real taxidermy beetles as mechanised shells, to show how we mistreat our fellow inhabitants, forcing them to do our will. When the planet’s soul is gone, all that’s left is cogs and pipes. You won’t see insects like these on the Discovery Channel."

Name a Roach After Your Loved One

"Flowers wilt. Chocolates melt. Roaches are forever. Limited-time Valentine's Day offer. Can't decide on what to get that special someone for Valentine's Day? Sometimes the answer is all around us, and right where it's been for millions of years—like cockroaches! How better to express your appreciation for that special someone than to name a Madagascar hissing cockroach after them? Naming a roach in honor of someone near and dear to your heart shows that you've noticed how resilient, resourceful, and loyal that person is. Or maybe it's in recognition of your one and only's virility, or strength in the face of high radiation. You're not afraid to say, "Baby, you're a roach!"

The cameras used for a documentary on polar bears were designed to be as unobtrusive and resilient as possible. Polar Bear: Spy on The Ice used hi-tech "spy cams" to get as close as possible to the bears during summer in the Arctic islands of Svalbard. But while they were built to withstand temperatures as low as -40C, in the end most could not cope with the curiosity displayed by their subjects. BBC: Polar bears get the better of spy cameras

Cthulhu Weihnachtsbaum-Topping

"If you wish to inspire dreams of non-Euclidean madness into all of your holiday guests, then take home this ageless, indestructible creature from Beyond the Stars ... Sure, he'll destroy all mankind, but in the mean time you’ll get a whole house-full of fanatical cult of believers ready to do your bidding during the holiday season ..."

I painted a series of four eyed kittens in an attempt to double the cuteness. I’m not sure it worked out so well.

Nowadays birds are not welcome under rooftiles anymore, so they lost a beautifull nest place. Placing a house on top of a rooftile, now created a nice place for a birdsnest. And also better to spot!

"The Spontaneous City in the Tree of Heaven is a sculptural installation drawing on the ecology and biodiversity of two sites on opposite sides of London; Duncan Terrace Gardens in the East and Cremorne Gardens in the West. The installations reflect the forms of the surrounding architecture; a combination of Georgian town houses, and 60's social housing around Duncan Terrace, and the World's End Estate adjacent to Cremorne. The Spontaneous City in the Tree of Heaven has developed out of a recent London Fieldworks project called Super Kingdom ..."

And now for something completely different:
"Burn your bra. The phrase doesn't get much voice anymore, as the advancement of feminism is countered by today's ever-present porn industry and freaky surgery makeovers. The surreal circus-like atmosphere in which we live, make the bras of Laura Jacobs no less startling. Incorporating everything from crab claws and fish heads to antique glass and mother of pearl, their wall-borne, gravity-defying flight gives voice to the shapes that lie behind, concealed like soft pills of great potency..."

Unterwasser-Roboter findet Reiskocher in dem Krake wohnt

YouTubeDirektKraki (via BotJunkie)

"At ... 1256m below the sea surface, we happened upon an abandoned rice cooker or crock-pot and screwdriver upon which sat a large crab. The ROPOS pilot carefully opened the lid. Inside, we discovered a mother octopus with her brood of eggs! Collaborating scientist suggested adopting this creature as the Bubbly Gulch mascot. We're calling her "Kraki."
